As a real working farm, you will be surrounded by farm equipment, beautiful fields of crops and flowers, and cute farm animals. Fun Things to do at Gallrein Farms

Gallrein Farms provides a perfect balance of greenhouse horticulture, seasonal produce, home-style dining, and hands-on family farm experiences. Each season offers its own unique selection of things to do. 

Spring

Spring is a beautiful time of year at Gallrein Farms. The flowers are in bloom, and you can come choose your favorites. With nine greenhouses, there is no lack of selection. Some of the flowers at the farm include:

• Marigolds 
• Geraniums 
• Begonias
• Impatiens
• New varieties of annuals, perennials, and tropicals.

Spring at the farm begins in mid-April and goes through early June. Don’t miss all the beauty this season has to offer!

Summer



Summer means fresh produce at the farm! With fruits and veggies picked daily, you get the freshest selection there is! Some of the things you can buy are:

• Corn
• Squash
• Green beans
• Tomatoes
• Potatoes
• Berries

You can also get fresh jams, jellies, and honey at the farm during the summer months. The season runs from July 1st through September.

Fall

Fall on the farm is from mid-September through October 31st. All the fall colors create an enchanting fall atmosphere for family fun. Activities include: 

• Corn maze - Get lost in the maze and wind through the stalks of corn to find your way out again! This is a family favorite activity!
• U-pick pumpkin patch - Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin. Take some family pictures while you’re there!
• Hayrides - Hayrides to the pumpkin patch pass by farm equipment and farm animals to give you a bigger glimpse of the working farm. 
• Family farm activities - Come join in activities the whole family will enjoy!

Petting Zoo

The petting zoo is open for all three seasons and allows you and your children to enjoy some of the farm animals up-close. The petting zoo is open during business hours each season and is a great way to learn about the functions of different animals on the farm. You can even feed them with produce from the farm!

Cafe and Bakery

The Gallrein Farms Cafe and Bakery serves lunch Monday through Saturday from 11am to 2pm. It offers a selection of salads, sandwiches, and bakery items that you’re sure to love!
